Frequently asked questions.
Do you provide free consultations?
Yes, upon request, we can provide 15 minute complimentary phone consultations.
What does a pelvic floor evaluation look like?
We will have a conversation about the concerns of the patient, ask about their history of childbirth, pregnancies, trauma, etc. After receiving consent, we will perform functional and muscle testing to determine the best treatment. If an internal vaginal exam is indicated, the therapist will assess muscle strength, length, and endurance of the pelvic floor muscles as well as any scar tissue and muscle tension. Typically treatment can begin immediately after the assessment.
Do you also treat orthopedic conditions?
Yes, this includes shoulder, neck, back, hip, knee, foot pain, TMJ pain (jaw), vestibular, etc.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not accept insurance. Instead, a superbill will be processed and the patient can submit it to their insurance company. This will be a document that includes diagnosis and procedure codes for the treatment that can potentially be reimbursed by the insurance company.
Will my credit card be charged at the time of scheduling?
No, a credit card is required at the time of scheduling in the case there is a cancellation or no-show. The card will be charged after the scheduled visit.
Can I bring my baby/child?
Yes, of course. I do not want child care concerns to interfere with your ability to come for treatment. If you need to bring your child/children, we will make accommodations. Toys will be provided.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require a 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations. We require that you email us or text us at 661.383.2296 to avoid a cancellation or no show charge. Failure to provide timely notice or missing an appointment will result in a $50 fee. This fee will automatically be charged to your card. What if I’m late to the appointment?
